Ingredients:
- 200 grams paneer, cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter) or oil
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 2 tablespoons cashew nuts, soaked in warm water for 15 minutes
- 1 tablespoon melon seeds (optional)
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds (optional)
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon Shahi Paneer Masala powder (readily available spice blend)
- ½ cup fresh cream
- Salt to taste
- Chopped coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:

Heat ghee or oil in a pan on medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

In a blender, grind the soaked cashew nuts, melon seeds (if using), and poppy seeds (if using) to a smooth paste. Add this paste to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes.
