Types of screws and bolts:

Screws are primarily used to fit materials together and to hold objects in place. They are specific by the presence of a circular/helical ridge, which is depicted as a male (external thread). Some screws have threads that are designed to be joined with a fully compatible thread, that is, a female thread.  The main purpose is made to penetrate soft materials when the screw is being injected.

This functionality in turn gives rise to the use of screws to join the surfaces together and hold them in place. The bolts are divided into various categories on the head shapes as well as job requirements. Moreover, bolts are also recognized for the shape they take, such as the U bolts & J bolts.

Bolts are made of steel, iron, and other types of metals as well as materials such as wood and plastic. During installation, the bolt requires a nut and a pre-existing hole to fulfill the fit's required functionality. Bolts are made up of the head at the top, and the head serves as a platform for the equipment to provide torque or be able to withstand it.

Bolts are divided into various categories based on the size of their heads as well as the requirements of the job. Some bolts are identified for their shapes, such as the U bolt and J bolt.
